Strange. I see something different I think. See "Datei:Wikipedia-ch-portal-screenshot.png" This is what I get web requestion http://wikipedia.ch of http://www.wikipedia.ch The other portals; .be, .nl .dk work fine. Notice the url. It redirects to http://www.wikimedia.org/ch-portal// (double //)

It isn't strange at all - except for the source code. Chlämens uses Internet Eplorer, which ignores the strange syntax of the inclusion of the style sheet. Firefox - and this means every Gecko-based browser - doesn't ignore.

While MSIE ignores &action=raw, Gecko does not and so it doesn't recognize the style sheet. Analyzing it with HTML-Tidy one get a warning of an unknown entity, although the syntax is formally correct,

So maybe it would be a good idea for Chlämens to use a variety of browsers instead of the only one, which is on the hate list of other administrators of als.wikipedia.org ;-)

I have tested www.wikipedia.ch with the following browsing engines on my SUSE-Linux-System:

* Gecko 1.8 (eg. Firefox 1.5) - ignores the styles

* Gecko 1.7x (e.g. Firefox 1.0x, Epiphany 1.6) - ignores the styles

* Opera 8.51 (Presto) - uses the styles in the intended way

* MSIE 6.0 (Trident, using crossover and wine) - uses the styles in the intended way

* KHTML 3.4 (Konqueror 3.4) - uses the styles in the intended way

So we can assume, that the KTHML-based Safari-Browser on Mac OS X will also use the styles correctly.

Although only Gecko displays the page not as intended, it is not a Gecko bug. It is bug in the site's own syntax, which is repaired in other browsers because of their intern code correction mode.

Bugfix: delete &action=raw in the syntax of the site.
