Atheismus

S altgriechische Adjektiv ἄθεος (átheos; dütsch „gottloos“) in ere Handschrift vom Brief vom Paulus an d Epheser.

Atheismus (vo altgr. ἄθεος (átheos) „ohni Gott“ bzw. „gottloos“) bezäichnet im ängere Sinn d Überzüügig, ass es käi Gott git. Zum Atheismus im witere Sinn zelt mä mänggisch au anderi Abgränzige vom Glaube an Gott, zum Bischbil Aasichte, ass mä über d Existänz vo Gott oder Götter nüt cha wüsse (Agnostizismus) oder dr Positivismus, wo säit, ass metaphüsische Behauptige wie «Gott existiert» weder woor no falsch sige. Au öb Religioone wie dr Jainismus oder Konfuzianismus, wo käi Gotthäit kenne, atheistisch siige, isch umstritte.

Es isch schwiirig z schetze, wievil Atheiste es uf dr Wält git. Noch em The World Factbook vo dr CIA si im Joor 2010 2.32% Atheiste gsi, 11,77% ooni Religioon, 33,32 % Christe (drvoo 16,99 % römisch-katholisch) und 21,01 % Muslim.[1] Noch em Eurobarometer 2005[2] häi 52 % vo de Bürger vo de 25 EU-Staate an e Gott glaubt, wääred 18 % weder an Gott no an e spirituelli Chraft glaubt häi. 27 % häi an en Art Gaist oder Lääbeschraft („some sort of spirit or life force“) glaubt und 3 % häi nüt welle sääge. Zwüsche de äinzelne Länder het s groossi Underschiid gee; so häi z Malta 95 % vo de Lüt an Gott glaubt, wääred s z Estland nume 16 % gsi si. Z Dütschland si s 47 %, z Östriich 54 % und in dr Schwiz 48 % gsi.

D Zaal vo de Iiwooner, wo gsäit häi, ass si weder an Gott no an e spirituelli Chraft wurde glaube, isch mit 33 % z Frankriich am höggste gsi und z Dütschland si s 25 %, in dr Schwiz 9 % und in Östriich 8 % gsi. Mee Fraue (58 %) häi an Gott glaubt as Manne (45 %); dr Glaube an Gott het positiv mit em Alter, ere bolitisch konservative Iistellig und ere niidrige Schuelbildig korreliert.
